Ensemble began initial site work on a 1.87 acre parcel at the new Tasman East District in Santa Clara, California in preparation for its first of six multi-family/mixed-use projects planned at the district. The Tasman East District is adjacent to Levi’s Stadium, home of the San Francisco 49ers, and Related Companies’ mega project Related Santa Clara.
Site work includes the demolition of a 29,000 SF industrial building to make way for the construction of an 8-story, 311 unit multi-family/mixed-use project which includes 15,000 SF of retail located at the gateway to the Tasman East District. The Carl’s Jr on the site has also been closed and will serve as a temporary construction support office and later redeveloped as an entertainment hub with 14,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor space to include a Beer Garden and Food Village that is envisioned to complement Levi’s Stadium 1/3 mile away. The Beer Garden and Food Village will open prior to the completion of the multi-family/mixed-use project.
