Derek is a seasoned hospitality leader with more than 37 years of experience managing restaurants and hotels. Before joining Ensemble, he spent 28 years with Marriott International. He is the former Chairperson of the Board for the Pennsylvania Restaurant and Lodging Association and remains highly active with the organization. In 2024, Derek received Marriott’s Tom Ladd Award for his continued work in Government Affairs and his advocacy for the hospitality industry. He also serves on the PRLA Education Foundation Board, where he is dedicated to developing future industry leaders. At Ensemble, Derek leads East Coast Operations.
