January Face of Ensemble – Kiley Bishop
The January Face of Ensemble is our Marketing Assistant (Phoenix Corporate Office), Kiley!
When did you join Ensemble and what do you do?
I joined Ensemble in May 2015 as a Marketing Assistant, where I work with Becky and Nate on various marketing campaigns. This includes graphic design and maintaining our online listings. I also assist with Ensemble’s presence on the web, in print advertising, and in social media.
What do you like most about working at Ensemble?
I truly appreciate that my co-workers understand my sense of humor! I’m also proud to be a part of the Pfun Committee, where we make the magic (aka shenanigans) happen.
Why or how did you get into your current line of work?
At heart, I’m an artist and lover of aesthetics. Therefore, I didn’t listen to my mother (who asked, “What are you going to do with an art degree?”) and chose to study fine arts and design at Arizona State University. From there, I worked my way into full time graphic design and marketing for real estate.
Where did you grow up and what was your first job?
I was born and raised in the Valley of the Sun and have never strayed. My first business venture was freelance cake decorating. I should have charged way more, but I had tons of fun making them!
What do you do for fun after work?
After work, I catch up with my good friends Netflix, HBO Go, and Hulu. I also enjoy singing with my barbershop quartet, crafting, and hanging out with my ferrets (their names are Cops and Robbers).
What is your favorite or most memorable vacation spot?
My favorite vacation was spent in Copenhagen, Denmark. I visited there in my free time during a study abroad stint in Greece and Italy. It’s a gorgeous, really fun city – and nothing beats a true Danish Danish.
