October Face of Ensemble – Gina Broglia

BLOG POST

10.01.2018

The October Face of Ensemble is our Accounts Payable Specialist (Phoenix Corporate Office), Gina Broglia.

When did you join Ensemble and what do you do?

I joined Ensemble in August 2017. I work in Accounts Receivable, which consists of posting and depositing all rent checks for my designated properties and billing the tenants at these properties.

What do you like most about working at Ensemble?

I really enjoy the people! Ever since I started working here I’ve noticed there is a great sense of teamwork and camaraderie throughout the company.

Why or how did you get into your current line of work?

In college I majored in Marketing with an emphasis in digital marketing, and planned on doing some aspect of this when I graduated. However, I was beginning to do more accounting work at the job I had while in college and found that it also intrigued me. Ultimately, my previous job experience and my love for organization and detail led me to continue working in accounting.

Where did you grow up and what was your first job?

I was born in Arizona and have lived here my entire life. My first job was as an Administrative Assistant at a commercial real estate company, where I worked throughout college. I started off doing clerical work but then moved into more of an accounting type role.

What do you do for fun after work?

During the week I really enjoy relaxing at home with my family. Once a week I play pickup soccer with my friends, but overall I love to just hang out and watch Netflix or a movie. On the weekends I love getting outside and going hiking, traveling up north, or going to local events happening in Tempe and Phoenix.

What is your favorite or most memorable vacation spot?

My favorite vacation spot so far has to be Europe, specifically Italy. A few years ago I went to visit one of my friends who was studying abroad there, and we traveled all around Europe. Italy was especially memorable to me because I felt like there were so many places to visit within the country and the food was amazing!
