Ensemble completes $8.7 million sale of Surprise Medical Plaza

Phoenix – March 9th, 2017 – Ensemble Real Estate Solutions recently negotiated the sale of Surprise Medical Plaza for $8.7 million.
Banyan Medical Partners, LLC purchased the 34,047 square-foot multi-tenant medical office building located at 13995 West Statler Boulevard in Surprise, Arizona. Ensemble will continue to manage the project. Listing brokers Bill Molloy and Tracy Altemus, CCIM of Ensemble represented the seller RK-WEM, LLC.
“Banyan was looking for a stable investment to start its entry into the Phoenix metro market, and we think this building is an excellent opportunity for them,” said Tracy Altemus, CCIM of Ensemble. “Surprise is one of the fastest growing cities in Arizona and THE CITY is especially vibrant.”
In 2008, Ensemble was selected as Medical Developer of approximately 40 acres for the healthcare campus. The property is located at the site of The City at Surprise, a 600 acre master planned urban center. The City contains a spring training facility, aquatic center, tennis complex, library, park, city hall, public safety center, and more. Surprise Medical Plaza is located at the main entrance of the new Surprise Civic Center with close proximity to Banner Del E. Webb and Banner Boswell Medical Centers. The building’s current major tenants include Banner Health Women’s Center and Primary Care Center, as well as Affiliated Dermatology.
Ensemble is continuing development at The City, and will debut a new 26,200 square-foot retail/medical property, titled the Marketplace At The City, in 2017. This health and wellness project is 88% pre-leased and its occupants will include: Banner Health, Kids-R-Kool Pediatric Dentistry, and Affiliated Orthodontic Consultants.
