Opened in 2004 as the first life science development at the Navy Yard, 4751 League Island is a 75,000 square foot, build-to-suit building designed for Wuxi AppTec. It houses the company’s early phase clinical manufacturing and lab research with a focus on testing services for biologics, cell banking/cell line characterization, viral safety testing (molecular and cell-based), viral clearance validation, and lot release programs.
